A project-based online course exploring the best practices to design and prototype intuitive, functional, and user-centered experiences for AR, VR, and MR.
Earn an interaction design and prototyping for XR digital badge to accelerate your skills in the XR industry. Using industry-recognized tools and software, you will learn the in-demand skills and experience required for XR jobs. The course aims to teach participants why and how UX practices are essential when creating AR and VR experiences.

Understand the process of designing new experiences for AR/VR/MR and how it differs from designing for the web or mobile software.
Learn the best practices and patterns of design applied to immersive environments and XR applications.
Understand the usability considerations when designing for immersive experiences.
Familiarize yourself with the tools, processes, and techniques to design interfaces and layouts.
Design XR experiences for multiple platforms including VisionOS, iOS, Android, Oculus and more using Unity.

Our courses are designed to provide the structure you need to reach your unique learning goals. With clear start and end dates to weekly units, the structure ensures that you can effectively manage your learning, stay on track, and fully engage with the course content.
Each learning cycle begins on Sunday with access to new course content and ends on Saturday with the submission of an assignment. This ensures that all learners in a cohort move through the course together, benefiting from group discussions and peer learning, keeping you committed to completing the course. Your cohort and instructors act as accountability partners, ready to help if you ever feel stuck or fall behind.

Apply your weekly learnings by completing and submitting an assignment every Saturday.

Engage in a hands-on, 1-hour live workshop towards the end of the week to explore content, clarify doubts, and delve deeper into assignments.
